How Medicate works
- 1
Start a new report
Give it a title and a patient reference code, then press the big microphone button.
- 2
Dictate naturally
Say "indication", "findings" and "conclusion" as you go if you like. The live transcript appears as you speak and you can type into it too.
- 3
Structure
Press Structure report. Your words are arranged into Indication, Findings and Conclusion. Nothing is added: no new findings, measurements or sides.
- 4
Review and correct
Compare the structured report with your raw transcript. Edit by typing, or use commands such as "replace moderate with mild" by voice or keyboard.
- 5
Sign and export
Choose the referring physician, sign on screen and download PDF and Word copies on your practice letterhead.
Medicate structures dictated text; the physician reviews and signs every report. It is not a diagnostic tool.
